Mems-ID Pty Ltd gave a briefing on its RFID technology to HIBCC AU's RFID Special Interest Group. HIBCC AU is the Australian affiliate of the Health Industry Business Communications Council. It is a not-for-profit incorporated association providing leading Auto-ID and E-Business standards tailored to the specific needs of the health industry in Australia. The Special Interest Group meets bi-monthly to discuss RFID issues and directs research projects for the HIBCC AU secretariat to undertake.

Mems-ID Pty Ltd has successfully closed its seed round, raising funds from a number of sources, including an Australian federal government funded incubator, private investors and grants from both the state and federal governments. With the funding now in place, the company is actively pursuing the next phase of its technology and business development programs.
