Dr Mike Murray, Mems-ID’s founding chairman, has handed over the Chairman’s role to Mr Kirkwood. Dr Murray will remain as a non-executive director of the company and take up a role on the Technical Advisory Panel (TAP).

In addition, Fraser Clayton, Mems-ID’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), has been appointed to the board and will take up the role of Managing Director (MD), effective immediately.

The re-composition of the Board of Directors has been precipitated by the Board’s recent decision to prepare the company for listing on the ASX in 2008, as well as to oversee the next phase of the company’s evolution towards the commercialisation of the Mems-ID™ product.
